A skeleton tries to strike Bain (14) 6, but he parries with a Judo retreat (13) 12 and immediately tries to execute a throw (12) 12; however, the monster deflects Bain's hands (10) 6 going for the counter-attack (14-4) 12, but fails!

AND they both stand unharmed!

Gathika fails the parry against a skeleton, she receives injury of 3 HP and then she is protected by Vic from the zombie attack. Gathika makes all-out defense in her turn.

Gathika is angry.

Vic uses feverish defense to block the attack versus him (rolled 14), tries to protect gathika versus the skeleton and fails (rolled 14), and finally parries the zombie’s attack against Gathika (rolled 7).

As Gathika gets hit by the skeleton, Bain speaks to her:

Worry not my friend! You will relinquish your power to lose, by leaving all the pain behind!

Combat intensifies.

After his defensive maneuver, Bain delivers two attacks against the zombie going for Gathika; the zombie dodges the first arrow, but it hits the skeleton for 7 HP of injury. The second one strikes the zombie for 24 HP damage.

Bain's arrows strike the skeleton for minimal damage, but the zombie takes the sharp projectile right through its forehead...but neither are out of the fight yet.

Vic slashes the zombie coming at him, slicing it's dead flesh apart with satisfying precision...but the undead sumglitch seems fairly unconcerned with injury!

Gathika goes on the defensive...

Telrith blocks the zombie's attack with his shield, and then hits the zombie with a beautiful swing (critical hit) ... that doesn't do that much damage. 2 penetrating damage, for 3 cutting, and an automatic major wound (from the critical hits table)... whatever that means on a zombie.



Can Telrith send his elementals to were they can only be attacked by skeletons? If so he'll send them there and they'll all out attack, confident in their stone protection.

(OOC: Rolls against knockdown and stunning rolled - one zombie fails and is now prone and out of the fight.)

As the counter attacks partially ward off the undead, Telrith orders his conjured friends to take the offensive.

They do so.
(Attack rolls both succeed, skeletons Block one but the other fails, damage roll 8 -2 DR x1.5 cutting = 9 injury)
Although one fleshless sentry raises its shield in time, the other is not so lucky. The skeleton is slashed hard.

TURN 2

The...surviving(?) undead warriors return the battle fury with silent and mechanical skill.

The three skeletons attack the elementals and Vic, successfully slashing swords upon their middle-sections, although the elementals shrug them off.
(OOC: attack rolls all succeed - one critical against Vic (TREAT AS MAJOR WOUND IF ANY INJURY). Damage rolls; 3, 3, 5(Vic), x1.5 cutting.)

The two zombies try to also kill Telrith and Gathika with a mighty mace swing.
(attack rolls both potential hit, players roll Active Defenses, potential basic damage is 12 (Telrith) and 14 (Gathika) crushing, apply torso DR.)

Hey Telrith, that was quite the smooth move!

Bain launches his attack to protect Gathika and Vicious, making two headshots: one against a zombie and another against the skeleton. Each attack deals 36 HP of injury, both monsters are out!

Telrith suffers a painful blow to his chest, his bones rattling, as Bain keeps up the attack.

He shoots both a zombie and a skeleton in the head, destroying them both. The wet sack of rotting flesh and bones hit the floor with disturbing sounds as the unholy magic animating them is ruined by the arrows.

Vic swings his sword into a skeleton, harming it significantly.

Gathika casts a healing spell upon her teammate Vic.

Telrith bunkers down, raising his shield in fear.

The elementals continue to all-out attack the two remaining skeletons.
