PP is a fullblown gadgeteer (though not a Quick one) as he has proven on numerous occasions.

Peter Parker was said to be the Author Avatar/Mary Sue of both Stan Lee and Steve Ditko - he was a photographer/chemist/superhero that was sleeping with a Supermodel/Soap Opera star.... It's okay that he doesn't dedicate too much time to his inventing skills! ;)

Milo from Monster Hunters International is good example of Gadgeteer.

I was thinking along these lines too.

Was KITT from Knight Rider necessarily created by a Gadgeteer, even though he counts as a gadget, or perhaps a gizmo-filled vehicle? His creator is on-screen, but spends all his time tinkering on KITT, without making anything else in the course of the show (IIRC, unless there was a female KITT that showed up at some point). Either the guy (was it the old society philanthropist with the Brotish accent?) would be a One-Gadget Only Gadgeteer, or the gadget is immaculately conceived by competent-but-non-Gadgeteer engineers.

PS- Who's the Shocker, a Marvel character? And Alistair Smythe?

Yeah PP is definitely a gadgeter and wasting his potential, though lately hes doing more with it. He built the spider mobile, messed up a lot of villains gadgets and doomsday weapons and often saves the day with one shot gadgets (Ultrapower probably). Also worked with Mr. Fantastic and the Lizard as well as other famous scientists. He plays dumb but is not.

MR. Fantastic however I would not say stopped learning or anything. He pretty much finances the FF and other thigns with his inventions and does a lot of things. However he does not have much ambition for wealth and many of his inventions could be very deadly so he tends to horde a lot of his inventions rather then remake the world.

I love Burn Notice, however, I would think that the electronic devices he (& the team) make would be electroncs repairs or some other skill. Not gadeteer.

The scientist gal was the lead researcher and it was mentioned there was a team that helped build KITT. She was just the only one we saw on a regular basis. Since KITT wa pretty much all they had I would call it a plot device and one hit wonder rather then gadgeteer. Note there were minor differences between the early TV series, the remake and a few movies.
Also there was another vehicle, I think it was called CAR that showed up at least once.
