This makes me pretty happy

What is the Estimated/Target Delivery Date for HoJ?

Will HoJ have a part that would work as a 4 Hour Con game?

I’m hoping to be able to have the final PDF ready in the next few days. The tricky bit is that the SJG staff need to approve this product as part of the license terms, and they’re a wee bit busy at GenCon.

The original adventure that hall of judgment was based on was run last year at Gen Con in two hours using DND fifth edition. I think with a four hour time window, there are definitely steps that you could take to run the game. But you’ll have to know the key steps by reading in advance, and skip over things like an arbitrarily long overland journey.

Actually, thinking about it a little more, there are three mini dungeons that are part of the current Adventure that could probably be run independently as one shot dungeon crawls.

I was thinking about using it for a con game in February, so that would work great.

Oh! I expect to have print copies in hand long before then (late September) and will have them for sale (at least) on my website, and also at GameHole Con. Plus a few supporting extras by then.

I sent Hall of Judgment preliminary files to the printer They were accepted first try, as “ready to print.”

I expect that I’ll hear back from the printing liaison today, since it’s mid-afternoon in the UK, and we can make plans to get things moving forward. But I think that means the clock on printing has started.

Still waiting on final ship approval as folks get settled and Return from Gencon (with associated Con Crud expected, if you’ve been to one of those). But things are nipping along well.

Those of you who backed the Hall of Judgment Kickstarter should have just received an email notifying you that the PDF has been released.

Thanks to Alain Dawson (Director of Licensing), Phil Reed, Sean Punch, Steven Marsh, Hunter Shelbourne, and of course Steve Jackson himself for their support of this project.

Now . . . what's next?

I can't wait for you to run it either. Not just for giggles or ego-boos (well, not JUST) - knowing what works and what can be improved is vital to planning future work.
