According to Google, STL means St. Louis. I doubt that is what y'all meant in this post.

Since Google has failed me, would you mind telling me (and others who may also not be in the know) what STL means, please?

An STL file is one used to run a 3D printer. Similar to the .c80 we used on our lasers, it's just a file extension for an output format.

Looked it up: it's short for stereolithography:

The name STL is an acronym that stands for stereolithography — a popular 3D printing technology. You might also hear it referred to as Standard Triangle Language or Standard Tessellation Language.

I've heard the other names called "backronyms" which is a new word for me today.
