Default Follow-Up and Affliction

I'm trying to add an effect to some Claws which allows them to inject a heart-stopping poison into their target if they penetrate the skin. This would be a piece of cake if I was using Innate Attack, but the only poisonlike enhancement listed for Claws is Follow-Up, which doesn't seem to be usable with Affliction. Is this a bug or am I missing something obvious?

Why can't you use Follow-Up with Affliction? It's explicitly allowed on p. B35. Are you mistaking the fact that an attack with Follow-Up can only be carried on an Innate Attack or natural weapon for a statement that it Follow-Up itself can only apply to these attacks?

Thanks, I didn't see that.
