Default Malign Intervention

Is this card considered a Curse Card? As in, when you Kick the Door Open and get it, it runs immediately?

It's not a Curse, so no. Since it is not, the card would have to have instructions on it to say it must be played immediately when drawn face up, which it does not. Playing the card is always a choice.

Do Curse cards ALWAYS say they are Curse cards? We were confused on this one because it doesn't say Item Or Curse or Use one Time or anything. It's just a card you keep in your hand to use whenever?

A Curse will always have Curse in the name. "Usable once only" only needs to appear on Items, since most Items remain in play while being used. If a card doesn't conform to one of the types of cards that remain in play, then it follows a very basic rule: Put it in your hand when you draw it, play it whenever you want (or when the card says), resolve its effect(s), then discard it.
