Default Pyramid Dungeon Collection

The greatest treasures
Are often ancient relics
As seen by new eyes
— Mentira Mensonge, Bard
Between 1993 and 2018, Pyramid magazine went through three different incarnations. A significant part of its content – everything up to 2004 – predated GURPS Fourth Edition. The majority of this – all the material from 1993 to 2007 – came before the GURPS Dungeon Fantasy series. Yet much of it was eminently suited to hack 'n' slash fantasy!

Pyramid Dungeon Collection reaches back into the past and immortalizes this material for today's gamers, but doesn't plop it down as originally written! All articles have been updated for compatibility with the Fourth Edition rules and the Dungeon Fantasy framework. And the original authors were given a chance to improve on their work, which in many cases led to not just revisions but also significant expansions. Thus, this isn't just an archive of old stuff, but a new Dungeon Fantasy supplement. With only minor conversion, it would also be useful with the Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game.

Note: Despite bearing a title that contains many of the same words, this is not the same thing as Pyramid: Dungeon Fantasy Collected, which is a collection of Pyramid articles that were expressly written for GURPS Fourth Edition and thus needed no updates or revisions. Both compilations are of value to GURPS Dungeon Fantasy and Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game gamers alike.

For greater convenience, I've put together a list of the locations mentioned in "Wellsprings of Location" and the publications in which they may be found here. Collect them all for a bigger Wellsprings-based campaign!

(This is, btw, a prime example of the kinds of revisions done for the PDC. The original Wellsprings article stitched together a lot of web-Pyramid articles. Many of those didn't make the jump to this book or other publications, so about half of the article is new work pointing to newer locations.)

(Which is not to say, of course, that Nordlond isn't something people should go buy right now anyway, but it's not specifically referenced in the PDC.)

I am either simply confused/mis-remembering, or I have accidentally traveled through time. I've already purchased this PDF through WH23 and I recall reading it before now. Is this simply a fresh announcement?

You may have purchased it as part of a Kickstarter for something else. This is the announcement that it's available for regular purchase on its own.

Ah thanks, that must be it. I've lost track of all the SJG/Douglas Cole products and add-ons I've bought into over the last couple months, so I'm going to forgive myself for forgetting. :)

As an addendum, the Pyramid Dungeon Collection is also available in print through Amazon as part of our On Demand program.

(We know there's a problem with the pricing of that volume on some of Amazon's international sites; we're trying to get it sorted out with them.)

I posted a comment on this but here is good too for The Powers That Be.
That entry as a free PDF, including other 4e fantasy settings would be a pretty decent marketing tool.
