Default Harry Potter Munchkin - Ally questions

In Munchkin Harry Potter, can you equip your Ally with headgear, armor, footgear, and handheld items? If so, what happens to those items if you discard the Ally or sacrifice the Ally during combat?

Thank you!

You can't give any Items to an Ally to wear unless the card says you can (and I don't think any of them do).

I had to re-look through the Munchkin Harry Potter set, as I wanted to help shed some light on the scenario of an Ally to be able to equip Items. With that said, "Ron Weasely" seems to be an Ally that can equip one Item same as a player can equip an Item or a player could use the "Cheat!" card to equip an Item to an Ally--if I understand the "Cheat!" card rules correctly.

The Item attached to the Ally being discarded or sacrificed is discarded as well. I believe this would be the correct way to play out this scenario. Enjoy!
