A hollowed out Ogre would probably be significantly more roomy than your average one-bedroom apartment...

I just figured they would use a "box of holding". 10 pounds of components in a 5 pound box.

Some more subtle hints...

•Productive day at the office; I held a giant box, reviewed projects, and prepped for the GAMA Trade Show trip. Ogre takes another step! -PR 2 hours ago

•During this afternoon's meeting I was assigned more Ogre homework . . . which I then worked on during my flight! -PR 10 hours ago

I want an IKEA-style macro-OGRE to use as a backyard play gym for my daughter! A Mk. III would probably be perfect for climbing all over and sliding down. :)

That'd be fun.

I suppose you could make your own (with permission from SJG), but I can't imagine there'd be enough of a market for SJG to take up manufacturing kits of that sort (and it's outside the game business, so they might not touch it even if it were a viable business).

Cool idea, though.

I'm thinking when 6e comes out, it won't be hard to scale up the chipboard Ogres onto 3/4" plywood sheets and assemble a large version, lol.

Yet another crumb...

•About time for the Ogre meeting. My notes are ready! And I saw a factory diecut piece today; not perfect yet, but better. -PR 4 hours ago

There have also been a lot of posts at BGG. Getting busy everywhere.

Actually, I believe I could make my own regardless, but only for my own personal use. I'd need permission to make them for others, not to mention time and resources I don't have. It's a fun idea, but probably not very practical.

But that does give me another interesting idea - make an Ogre Mk. V parade float. I'm not sure it would work given the width (maybe a Fencer would be better), but it sure would be an attention-getter!

True enough. I'd get permission anyway, though, just as a courtesy to Steve.

If you could make it look like a cybertank rather than a float, it'd get lots of attention....

:)
