Actually, Sicarius is a less anomalous demon than you might think. Calabim of Lust have long been considered to be actually quite credible competitors in the gladiatorial arenas, particularly when it comes to "technical" or stylized matches. A properly trained one can be worth a fortune on the corporeal circuit - yes, Hell runs a clandestine gladiatorial games circuit. Just because it's a cliché doesn't mean that they won't do it anyway - as long as one is careful about it.

The trick is not in getting them to fight. After all, Calabim are Calabim. They enjoy destroying things. The trick is in getting them to fight the way that you want them to. Gladiatorial demons are usually considered property, and no fight promoter wants his valuable property suddenly realizing that there's a bigger world out there, and it's one where an enterprising demon can run quite far. So the various fight circuits generally contract for large and dumb - which makes the ethereal circuit a problem, but that can't be helped - and then give the arena slaves what human beings call "the mushroom treatment" about... just about everything.

And that's Sicarius in a nutshell. He's large, pretty, exceptionally good at a very specific skill set - and is both abysmally ignorant and dumb as a pile of rocks. He's not very nice, either, although it's genuinely hard to tell. The demon is barely smart enough to tie his shoes, when he bothers wearing any, so many of the usual ways of demonstrating a generally nasty nature are simply beyond his capacity. He's currently on the corporeal plane to be buffed up, trained up, addicted to various useful drugs, taught an appreciation for the cruder things in life, and generally turned into a corporeal killing machine. He knows nothing of Earth, the War, Heaven, Hell outside of the arena, or indeed much of anything else.

It is thus possibly a real shame that his handler just got hit by a bus.

Sicarius is suitable for a starting player character.
