Default Body of blades

For a horror game there is gong to be a monster entirely made of blades.

Would you think Homogenous or Diffuse would be the most appropriate Injury Tolerance?

Basically, does it act like a solid or a fluid when it get's hit? If it's a mass of scalpel-sized blades held together by something like magnetism, then Diffuse works better. If it's more like sword blades which are welded together, then it's Homogeneous. Anything in between, make a judgement call, but I'd be inclined towards Homogeneous.

Emphasis mine.

Of the two of these, I have to say option 1 is significantly more jaw-droppingly cool, original, and scary.

It was mostly the first idea I had in mind. Actually it was my 4 year old son who described an enemy in his imaginary play/game: "a man made of knives".
I like the visual of it being a lot of small blades like Perfect Organism suggest. I had also considered it to be made of shards.

Also Diffuse is so much harder to kill when you only have mundane weapons and guns.

Glass is nasty too.
Older style razor blades moving like schools of fish.
See the character idea Ferrous in the super superior thread over in role playing in general.

I agree with diffuse if the blades are small and moving constantly. Like a school of fish swimming around each other, moving into the center and out.

Or you could have a creature that swirls when it's moving, but assembles itself into a solid state when it's reached its destination and then wants to attack. The limitation (only when moving) or (only when stationary) could be slapped onto either "swarm" or "large blade" form as appropriate.

I swear just reading these descriptions makes me hear it. The sound of metal sliding against metal very quickly times 1000.

Why not a stream of animated blood and the blades are floating on it all around?!

Also, forgot the name now, you could build his "arms" as such that if cut away or destroyed, he can reattach to the body.

That's Regrowth with the Reattachment enhancement (or the Reattachment Only Limitation) and enough Regeneration to do it as fast as you want.
