Versions of Ogre Miniatures
The 'tread thread' seems to have vanished, so I'll try a new one.
My crew and I continued work on Steve's Martian Metals Mk 5 http://public.fotki.com/RKerr/ogre-m...ian-mkv-3.html and finished. Here is the martian Mk 5 compared to the Ral Partha/ late SJG/ Graycat Mk5. Badger for scale. http://public.fotki.com/RKerr/ogre-m...ger.html#media Here are the first and latest nose to nose for comparison. http://public.fotki.com/RKerr/ogre-m...ose.html#media I think there are (at least) 4 versions of the Mk 5: Martian Metals 1- one piece main body, stupidly thin secondaries Martian Metals 2- two piece main hull, separate missile launchers SJG 1 done by Ab Mobaser. Very clean, mechanical Ral Partha, rework of Ab Mobasher model by Dave Summers The late SJG version differs from the RP version only in the copyright notice. The first SJG version is very different, the treads are etched, with very little depth. Has anyone got a photo of one of these to post? Okay, it's a very big badger

Re: Versions of Ogre Miniatures
Gosh the old one is really quite a bit bigger than the later version. Has real character too, which I think is something to do with the "nose" of the tank.
