I love this thread. TFT history and one of my other favorite microgames (Chitin I) all in one place. I was really, really hoping to see the big box o' bugs game, and dang... when I get home I'm going to have to teach my kids to play it (and then include bugs in my TFT game, too).

Hi Kevin,
If you are thinking of "the Dragon Masters", which Chitin I was based on that was Jack Vance.

If you are thinking of "Sand Kings", that was George R. R. Martin.
