Default [RPM] Resisting a Direct Damage spell with Rapid Fire

Using Ritual Path Magic, if a Direct Damage spell adds the Rapid Fire enhancement, does the subject resist the spell just one time, or once per shot?

Make a resistance roll per shot.

Rapid Fire isn't a valid enhancement for a direct damage attack, as that sort of attack doesn't have an attack roll and thus no margin of success on an attack roll. (The casting roll is not an attack roll -- an attack roll can be dodged.) It's the same reason you can't stack Rapid Fire and Malediction on an Innate Attack advantage. The concept of "a resisted attack" and "high RoF" aren't compatible.

Gotcha! That makes the most sense. Thanks PK!
