My copy arrived last week in Finland, and I've been reading through it. Very inspiring! This is excellent, because I have been looking for inspiration for a while now. Hopefully I manage to get a group together to run this.

I have a question: what and where is Frostharrow? It is constantly referenced in the book. I gather it is north of Veiddarlond, and the faerie are confined there?

The Frostharrow is referenced extensively in Hall of Judgment, which is probably why it didn't occur to me to put a map note or explanation. I mean, clearly EVERYONE knows where and what it is, since the author does, right?

Ahem.

The Frostharrow is the northern reaches of the Vesturham mountain range, which boasts many stunning, perpetually ice-shrouded peaks. As you've noted, it's the home of the Winterfae, the point in the land where Alfheim touches Midgard most strongly.

It's a few hundred miles northwest of Nordvorn, and forms the (un)natural boundary of the Hunted Lands (Veiddarlond).

I have received notification that the Nordvorn, HoJ 2e, and FDG books are now at Studio 2.

This means that US fulfillment should begin shortly. Folks all over are still recovering from GENCon, but this puts the books in a good spot to hit your hopefully-eager hands by the end of the month.

Hah, thanks.

Did you stop by CONVergence this year? I know you're local - will you be at Con of the North?

You know, I haven't been to a con since I lived in California in the early aughts. Clearly I should remedy this. Do you recommend one over the other?

I've never been to Con of the North; it's an RPG Con, though, while CONVergence is SciFi/Fantasy Fandom.

In practice, that means CONVergence is mostly cosplay, TV, cinema, and written fiction. It's *thematically* on point, but practically . . . while there were RPGs being played there, I think Rasputin said I was the ONLY purveyor of RPG Warez on the dealer floor at CONVergence . . . and I did about $300 worth of business or so while there. Basically covered most of my costs.

Con of the North is probably smaller, but it's a GAMING convention, so I'd expect that more folks are there to play and shop.

Though honestly, if you "just" want to attend a Con and not drown in people, try GameHole Con or Gary Con. They're both in striking distance of the Twin Cities and SJG is at both, I think. That's where I got formal word from Steve himself about Nordvorn, and when I asked how I could do more, he said "publish for TFT," which I did.

I want to go back to GameHole in 2020 with a table of my own; I just need to get on the stick and make sure I get my application in on time.
