Loaded Dice and Auto Fail Next Escape
I'd assume the answer is no, but I want to get the official ruling. If you have a curse that will make you automatically fail your next flee attempt, can you use loaded dice to override this? I'm assuming since you auto fail, you don't even roll the dice, thus can not change the outcome.

You automatically fail, no roll required.

Re: Loaded Dice and Auto Fail Next Escape
So what if you play something like Invisibility Potion that say "Use when your run away roll fails. You escape automatically." Would this be usable in the situation where you automatically failed your run away? Same with the Magic Lamp, which states it is usable even after you fail your run away.

But in the case where you automatically fail to run away, you are not making a "roll", so you did not fail your runaway roll.

Then what about cards that don't require a roll, like Baby oil and Instant wall. These just state that escape is automatic. Baby oil even takes it to another level, saying you can escape from monsters that can not normally be escaped.

Re: Loaded Dice and Auto Fail Next Escape
Generally, curses cannot be easily circumvented. Typically, the card itself will list the ways to circumvent it, or a wishing ring can often be used.
