Questions on bleeding

I'm looking for some basic consultation on bleeding from people who would know. Doctors, nurses, medics (combat medics, EMTs, etc).

I have some questions about how much bleeding is medically significant.

(Yes, this is in GURPS because it's research for a GURPS article)
