Charity questions
When one gives cards to the lowest level players during Charity, are the cards visible to all or are they given face down ?

Re: Charity questions
They're your cards, and it's stated in the rules that you can show your hand, we can't stop you, so I don't see that there isn't a reason you couldn't show the cards you're going to give away before you give them away. There's no rule specifically stating how the cards are to be handed out, however.
That being said, I usually give them face down unless I have a point to prove. . . ;-) |

My fundamental question was to know if I was allowed to give them face down. It adds a nice element of "bluff", as the other players wonder if you are planning something sneaky... And Charity is quite about the left hand ignoring what the right one does... ;-}

Re: Charity questions
The best move is to show your hand, then use sleight of hand to make everyone think you gave a specific card to the other player. Or, lie about what you gave them and let them decide how they intend to handle it. I use the face-down charity to hopefully imply a little contract between myself and the other player to use the card I gave them to the best of their ability to help me out. :-)

Re: Charity questions
Your answer triggers an idea : does a compendium of "munchkiny tactics" exist ?

Re: Charity questions
When someone is about to win the game can another player lets say discard a wandering mopnster for charity to the lowest level who has a monster in his hand to play or are you not allowed to discard out of your turn?

Re: Charity questions
You can trade or give away Items on the table at any time when you and the other player in the trade are not in combat. You cannot trade or give away any other cards except as Charity at the end of your turn.

Re: Charity questions
what if you played cards against them to stop them from winning the game and they used restraining order on you since at one point you were in combat does this mean you aren't anymore and can then discard to the lowest level so they can play it to stop that person from winning?
