Basic speed formula

Hi, I like to change speed formula in GCA. Where can I make this?

A) For a single character that already exists, you'd edit the Basic Speed attribute in GCA, and change the basevalue() tag.

1. Click on Basic Speed in the Attributes tab.
2. Click on Edit.
3. Click on Full Edit Window.
4. Find basevalue in the left column of the grid, and click into the right column.
5. The value in the edit field is currently (ST:HT + ST:DX) / 4. Change that to what you want.
6. Press TAB to exit the edit field.
7. Click OK in each window to accept changes and return to GCA.
8. Your Basic Speed should now be the new value.

B) For characters that you might want to make in the future, you'd include the change to Basic Speed in a custom data file, and load that file as part of the data set for those characters.

1. On a character, follow the steps 1-6 from part A above.
2. Click on the Save to Data File... button at the top of the Edit Items window.
3. Enter a name for your custom data file, and click Save.
4. If the file doesn't exist, click OK to create it.
5. Click OK in each window to accept changes and return to GCA, or click Cancel to not make the change on this character.
6. Next time you want to make a character with this version of Basic Speed, load the file you just saved as the last file in the data set for that character.
