Munchkin Dice
The Munchkin Dice rules allow for a Level to be traded for an effect. Do the cards other than "Loaded Dice" and "Reloaded Dice" work to modify the effect of the Munchkin Die's roll?
A heated discussion about since the rules sheet listed "Loaded Dice" and "Reloaded Dice" they should be the only to affect it versus they are listed because they are limited. As you may had guessed, a "Reloaded Dice" was immediately played to ensure the die's result (although irony... a head with a helmet was rolled) and then "Feline Intervention" was played. (Which by the way is nasty in this case scenario.) What does everyone think? |

Re: Munchkin Dice
Well, I think that Feline Intervention says it should be played after "anyone rolls the die, for any reason." Not any die, but the die. The game comes with a six-sided die and that is the die that Feline Intervention refers to.
This is not to say that some other card could not be used to cancel a roll of the Munchkin die and force a re-roll*, should one exist with the correct wording, but in this case it's not going to work. * Remember, cards trump rules, except for the unbreakable rules. |

Re: Munchkin Dice
It's interesting how it could be so easily mistaken for something else just because of that one small word. Hell, I'd probably have ruled that it affects whatever die was rolled last, or at the time the Feline Intervention card was played (much like Annihilation affects the last card played), that is, if I were playing the game, owned it, and had this happen. Lots of "Ifs", I know. :p
I'm glad you have cleared that up, Erik.
