Awww.
Well just to keep this from crushing everyones hopes Kromm wrote in the GURPS News yesterday...
"Four first drafts await playtest, but there's now enough breathing space in our schedule to start planning. The most probable order hasn't changed:"

So I guess were at planning for a playtest then Feb probably gets us GURPS Steampunk 3 Soldiers and Scientists, maybe Douglas DF adventure for March?

More updates, for some stupid reason I flagged David Pulvers comment for the Armorers book but it could equally apply to th what to do in your vehicle book too.
Also edited Douglas Coles note, which hopefully Ill have to edit again on Friday.

We may be headed torwards a short term gap in GURPS releases but there is a lot of hope overall for the year. I dont want anyone discouraged!

You can't get funds after a month-long campaign for at least two weeks after the thing ends, and then there's the backerkit phase so necessary to secure funding for shipping. Minimum two months for crowdfunding, and this project will reuse as little art as possible, ideally none. Gonna take some time.

I highly doubt it. Per Kromm's latest News, that's "still in editing but almost surely going to be what's next." If it's in editing, there's no way it's going to be ready for a February release.

It seems pretty clear that February will see a hiatus in GURPS releases. If anything, we might see a Kickstarter for the DF Bestiary -- but that depends on how fast the mock-up and evaluation process go.

I'd peg Steampunk 3 for March 7 at the earliest, and the Pyramid Dungeon Collection for April 4.

Signing the contract happens before the writer ever starts writing, not after handing in the first draft.
At least I get to keep my title of World's Worst Detective.

This would be great timing for me as I was hoping to start a new steampunk campaign after my current campaign gets finished with its much-needed epilogue. That plus a couple of months off would be perfect!

Also, I believe this needs to be updated. I won't say for sure (because of my track record), but I think GURPS Action 5 counts as a GURPS supplement.

Thank you, I tend to forget editing that count.
Congrats on your title! :)

In todays news Kromms latest short writing project is almost done writing (85%) so that will help towards that upcoming gap. Thats just over a weeks writing so it must be something that flows well but with a Physicist behind it don't count out crunch just because its fast.

I'm still betting Steanpunk 3 is out in Feb, and Art was approved so its moving.

Peter Del'Otoro and Bill Stoddard left us hints on their blogs for their as yet unnamed projects.

I deleted several posts mocking another poster's spelling (and, in the process, making fun of yet another user's actual name).

Not cool, guys.
