Re: DF 16 ???
I am guessing that it is either Wilderness or Urban Adventuring. Or heck, at 58 pages, maybe it is DF Environments, with attention to both [i]and]/i] seafaring.

Re: DF 16 ???
I am pretty sure the this book will be DF 16 Elf-types which will cover the templates of different types of elves such as meadow elves, glade elves and grove elves.

Re: DF 16 ???
DF:Ninjas was only 14,000 words including ad copy. The Deadly Spring was 11,000 words. So if you're in the 10 to 15,000-word range (or can get there) you're in "short e23 supplement" territory, so I encourage the proposal!

Re: DF 16 ???
I've been really thinking about, I wanted to expand it anyways. Maybe after the pipe line unclogs I'll send it in. I was told it was a damn nifty idea (it had random roll tables for traps, what type it was, how powerful it was, etc.).

Re: DF 16 ???
Well, DF 16 isn't about traps, but there are six examples – about a page and a half – of fully worked traps in there, so it's worth waiting for just to get a feel for the style (and lethality level!).

Re: DF 16 ???
No, just the opposite! I'm saying that DF 16 will give such a proposal a leg up because it'll establish both style (important to writers) and capabilities (important to players) more firmly than DF 2.

I'd really love to flesh out what I have to about 16k words. I have a random trap roll generation tables that uses the "N" mechanic from The Mirror of the Fire Demon that seems to work really well. Hmmm. Would I need to wait for DF16 to be published before I made such a proposal? Or could I get access to the DF trap style before then? I copied mine from the examples in DF 2.

Re: DF 16 ???
A suggestion unrelated to speculation: ditch the numbering. Only the first three DF supplements should have numbers, since they're the gateway drug for everything after. The numbering gives a subtle thought that you need all the earlier supplements for the newest ones, which is almost never true for them.
