*gains dissonance*

I am indeed most sorry for not knowing that - all I knew about the origins of DnD was of the late Gary Gygax... and its first German publishing house, which also no longer exists. But one should know these things, I apologise most humbly and will request redesignation to a fitting role by the archangel of roleplaying... :(

I will say that I only recently learned that there are fundamentalist oriented rpgs, and have been for decades. Never knew that, but then I rarely window shop the Christian bookstores. Rather a surprise, since I thought I was relatively abreast with the subculture. I even bought a few used Nintendo Entertainment System Christian video games (not very good...) and thumbed a pack of Redemption the CCG (I so want a Whore of Babylon card to backsleeve my rares -- for other CCGs!). So my ignorance of what goes on in these communities is still pretty large enough to show.

I always thought IN could be a very interesting game to explore theosophical concepts in a more open religious community. So I guess shame on me not being open to the idea that more stringent communities could be as interested. :)

Whoops, and yeah. ("Panentheism" as it happens was not a typo.)

I actually found "Spiritual Warfare" mildly amusing. ^_^

I was amused by the almost panicked way the author said, "Blandine's never had sex, no no no!" And by the way he refers to Blandine, Gabriel and Novalis as "he" without any comment, as though the idea of female archangels should be show intuitively wrong to the reader that it doesn't even need mentioning.

Is there anything in Christian or Jewish scripture indicating a single gender for angels? The Qur'an is quite explicit that angels are all male, which is a touchy subject for Khalid…

Didn't the GMG already cover this territory (as well as more "accurate" Jewish and Islamic variants)?

Sir, I am most dismayed at your implication that something in a rulebook could NOT be considered knowledge in its purest form...

:p
