Yes, that's it exactly. I know it's bothersome, but that's just how the forums software thinks.

Okay, mystery solved. Yes, that's rather annoying.

Oh yes, I'm glad somebody explained this.

I thought it was a bug and required a new post but thought it was up to the admin's to recognize.

I think we can all sleep easier ;-)

I've just been paying attention to the last poster listed... and it was me for awhile, so I knew it wasn't actually being updated (but I've been watching the the two most popular poll options leveling out).

I was really tired that night and was thinking of the wording of my selection meaning something else.

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! (vote)

I grin evilly every time i see this poll go up to the top again with my lone opinion mistake... (i am the “2c” vote, in case anyone wondered what i was talking about)

And yeah I’m buying Caverntown next week. Keep making more!

Caverntown is a great example of a supplement that is built towards DF but works just fine with DFRPG. Several of the dungeons described in it would also make interesting settings or adventures, but one of the features I like is how reusable this one is.

I actually thought they were really good low level adventures. I also really liked MoFD.

It's not the kids, it's just that QA is terrible these days. Many AAA video games are shipped with game breaking bugs that developers know are there but haven't fixed so they can meet a sales deadline. Combine that with the historical recalcitrance of online stores to provide refunds (Steam used to be terrible to try to get a refund from) and people are justifiably worried when a game doesn't have any support. Even more so when the game has a review black out, preorder incentives, and heavy ad campaign. Finally, for many people of my generation, money is tight and they need to hedge their bets when deciding how they're going to fulfill their entertainment quota.

Sorry, but I could resist deriding against your "old man rant." I'll go back to lurking... :)
