Default Incidental FAQ

Ok, so I started this thread for anyone with random questions that dont have the weight for their own threads.

My question is, how do you pronounce "Mnoren?" Maybe it sounds silly, but I don't know.

Like Cthulhu, only with "mn" instead of "cth" :D

Seriously though, I try to pronounce "mn" the same way I pronounce "str" in string. "M" first, then "n", with no vowel sound in between.

"Mngineering," btw, sounds close to "mingineering" but with as truncated an "i" sound as I can make it, again trying not to have any vowel.

I pronounce it as it looks, lips together for M, then following into N (tongue on top of mouth) to lead into oren.

mn do appear in english language anyway - solemn - (where the n is almost silent) or Remnant where both are heard.

Yes. No vowel in between. It was supposed to be a name from another language, so a bit hard for US to say.

Ok, thanks, I was stuck between a silent letter or the way it seems to be said.
