Default New Releases for the Year (2)?

Quite interesting Daily Illuminator today. Maybe there should be a part 2 covering e23 releases? (I mean, it wouldn't have so much Munchkin...)

Nice list really helps me look for things I might have missed.

I was very glad to see the synergy between sales of the 4e Reign of Steel conversion and the 3e sourcebook. I'm crossing my fingers that a similar overlap can someday be explored for GURPS In Nomine.

EDIT: And on that subject, while it's been neat to look over the e23 year in review, I was disappointed that no mention has been made of the various IN re-releases ("IN Classic?") yet. Or possibly at all, if the "e23 by other publishers" signals the final installment.

Today's Illuminator was quite intriguing.

Speaking of series, we plan to kick off at least one more quick-start genre treatment in the vein of GURPS Action, GURPS Dungeon Fantasy, and GURPS Monster Hunters. I really shouldn't give out too many clues. However, I'll hint that it has monsters without being traditional horror or fantasy, and guns and knives without being action per se. For that matter, it has autogyros.
Sounds an awful lot like Cliffhangers updated for 4th edition.
And then there's this little tidbit:

One of these, for instance, will have "GURPS" in the title but not in its customary place at the start of the title.
Are we going to be see something that's "Powered by Gurps?"

That's an interesting guess. I hadn't considered that option, but it would be a cool choice...

I presumed that this was a reference to the upcoming 4e Discworld hardcover. My guess is that they will market this as a standalone game with the "Powered by GURPS" label.

FYI, the "Powered by GURPS" stamp is not actually part of a product's title. Thus, the upcoming Discworld RPG will not have "GURPS" anywhere in the title, whether or not we market it as a PbG release.

Regarding today's illuminator (http://www.sjgames.com/ill/a/2012-01-02) there will be a lot of Munchkins reprints in this year. Where can we find informations about changings (rules or cards changings) in those new reprints?

The Munchkin errata page -- http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/errata/munchkin/ -- is the best place to go for this info. But a lot of the reprints are just straight reprints without any card or rule changes, so I wouldn't worry about it much.

I don't think we're done yet. Keep in mind, though, that we're unlikely to post a list of the non-SJGames PDF releases to the DI.
