Default Fatigue damage and DR

In the Basic Set (p. 398), there's a note that "Fatigue damage always ignores hit location." Since I was told on this forum years ago that fatigue attacks do not "automagically" ignore DR, there has to be some sort of way DR blocks fatigue attacks, though since it is in a separate header, it does not look like Large-Area Injury handles it. So, how does DR work against fatigue attacks?

Kromm addressed this in a recent thread:

The only limit on how many FP can be caused is the target's usual floor of -FP.

In much shorter terms, it's mostly a statement that you can't get bonus FP by aiming at the skull or vitals, and don't inflict fewer FP just because you hit a hand or an arm.
Many FP attacks have penetration modifiers like Malediction, Respiratory or Follow-Up. For those that don't, they interact with the DR for the location struck, just like any other direct attack.
