From what I can tell (I opened three issues at random and looked), they are not.

One of those issues (Sept 1982?) has my first-ever publication in print: a sentence-long magic item that got an "honorable mention" in the Magic in Car Wars contest.

I loved the old Space Gamer. There's some really good articles in there. I was recently re-reading June '81, the Traveller issue, which has a very rare "actual play" writeup by Marc Miller describing a blow-by-blow of how he GMed a Traveller adventure, something I don't think ever appeared anywhere else.
