Default Technical Grappling with Four Arms and a Rigid Weapon

Let's say we have a 25 strength character with 4 regular strength arms and a rigid weapon. What is the ST for determining the CP dealt by a multi-armed grab using 2 arms to hold the weapon and 2 to grab the opponent?

I can't decide whether I should thank you for taking the system so seriously, or attempt some version of an internet Sweep for such an . . . interesting . . . question. :-)

So, I can see several ways to look at this.

1) You've got two pair of ST 25 arms, which combine together to be ST 35. If you are using all four arms to leverage a rigid weapon, you'll get 4d-1 Control Points from your ST, and +2 per die for the rigid weapon (+8) for 4d+7 total (which you may convert to 6d if you like).

2) You are effectively using two pairs of arms separately, to grapple two locations. That's a ST 25 set with a rigid weapon (2d+2 for one pair, +2/die for rigid weapon for 2d+6, and another 2d+2 set. Grappling two different, likely adjacent locations that's not bad, and even if you add 'em up you're only 1 CP different: 4d+7 above and 4d+8 in this case. Call that a wash.

So I'd say the general case is fine to approximate with Case 2. Treat them as two sets, which can attack separately, one at 2d+6 and the other at 2d+2. You may use these to grab the same location or different locations as reach allows.

I'll admit I cringed at this one, but the results don't seem egregiously off. Go, TG!
