And it's up.

The Illuminator will run in a couple of days, but forumites get the early look.

Initial reactions in no particularly systematic fashion:

Great that you're hanging on, which is in many ways the best we can reasonably hope for these days.

"transition some PDF-only [GURPS] titles to print-on-demand" Yes, please. I would very much like to get my hands on physical versions of a number of 4e PDF-only works.

And, hey, great to see that the Basic Set is still in the top 40, and not just nosing in to the bottom of the list.

I appreciate SJGames transparency, which is a very rare thing.

What I wanted to hear was that SJGames made $500 billion last year, and bought out the companies I've been having problems with so things can be done right. Right now I'm waiting while talking to customer service with a company where I got an add on for over ten years for free that, due to some merger or takeover or whatever, will now cost me over $500 per year.

And they could buy the Internet company that's discontinuing my service because it's not worth it for them supporting those of us who live in the middle of nowhere. And they could buy the phone company that my old company became and which suddenly went from great service to terrible service (online average customer rating went from very close to 5 stars to barely above 1 star, an almost unbelievable change). And they could....

In short, SJGames is one of the best companies I've ever dealt with. I wish more were run like SJGames does (and want SJGames to make more money!)

EDIT: Shortly after I posted this, my power went out. ARG!!!!!

(Note I didn't mention the names of any of the other companies, so hopefully I'm not breaking a posting rule.)

It's a bit odd that Campaigns edged out Characters again, but I'll drink to that.

In Canada, we have sure been rethinking the wisdom of ordering everything specialized from chains in the USA and UK!

I hope that SJG gets enough Building Points in 2022 to buy some New Game tokens and roll the dice on them. Sometimes the dice give you something lame like Super Subs, but other times you get Heavy Bombers!

Its very interesting that there is about 15 times as much money in creating things about RPGs + celebrities as a medium-sized company makes from RPGs, just like there are 3 or 4 times as much money in Munchkin as in tabletop RPGs. Its as if there was 15 times as much money writing books about books about WW II as in publishing sources from the war. I think any company except WotC and Pathfinder would be very happy to gross $5m/year from RPGs.

I would certainly not object to any plan that increased our gross to $500 billion, as long as the net remained healthy. There would certainly be another round of raises.

Thank you for the compliments. I would like to adopt the "Don't be evil" motto, since Google doesn't want to talk about it any more.

... says "Evil Stevie," apparently without intentional irony.
