Bad stuff for Redneck Tree

I noticed that one of the lines for the bad stuff on the Redneck Tree states that I have uncontrollable trembling and as such get a negative bonus against plat monsters for the rest of the game.

There is a monster that you can encounter called Fungus. Technically a fungus is not a plant, so I'm assuming that I would not tremble at the sight of it. Wanting to make sure that it was not the intent of the game to have the Fungus considered a plant for this purpose.

I guess it depends on whether your character can tell the biological differences between fungi and plant life. ;-)

Honestly, this would probably come down to your group's preference, for lack of a better term. I agree with you, a fungus is not a plant and wouldn't expect you to suffer the penalty against a fungal Monster, but if I don't have access to the Internet to provide sufficient argument to convince everyone at the table, I'm not going to fight it. Well, I'm an official voice for Munchkin, so I will fight, and win, but if I weren't. . .

Oh, and, what I mean to say here is this: A fungus isn't a plant, so officially, I'm going to state that victims of Redneck Trees are safe from trembling fear of Fungus, but I can't guarantee the Humongous Fungus won't give you a shiver. . .

Would the dryad monster be considered a plant? As an argument has arose with one camp stating she is a plant and the other that she is only a spirit of the plant but not actually a plant herself.

Hi. We almost killed each other because one stupid question: does Thing With a Name so Long … treats as plant or no? Could you help us?
