Using munchkin 3 with 5
So I have the basic munchking plus the 3 and 5 expansion. As I have mentioned here http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=160718 I also have purchsed munchkin 8, but here I would be interested mainly in any advice on combining core+3+5.
I actually have run 3 and 5 quite a lot of times (removing steed enhancers since munchkin 5 has only 2-3 steeds) and they are a pretty fun combo. That said I was informed in the thread I recently started the number of classes differs. Way I see it I could remove 1 bard, 1 gnome and 2 rangers. At least to keep the class/race cards at the same level. It gets a bit more complicated but maybe I should remove some usable only by (class/race) items since I will have fewer classes races. Maybe even remove one of each half breed and supermunchkin since I will have fewer races/classes? If all that haven't caused you a headache, how about combining 1+3+5+8? |

There is also one Orc race card in each of Munchkin 3 and 5. You might want to remove those, unless you like that race being rarer than the others.

I wouldn't remove the Steed Enhancers since the Ranger class can make its own steeds.

I am a firm believer in removing and adding cards however you want to suit your group's play style. Munchkin is very much a game that doesn't have a single "correct" way to play.
