Default Hospitalier to the fore!

Since Kromm posted a cleric that slays evil and doesn't heal, I decided to post a holy warrior who is as much combat medic as combatant:
. .

Gilead of Aquerigon
250-point Human Holy Warrior
Gilead is a member of a militant order serving the goddess of healing. He and his brothers and sisters are trained to march with the armies of the righteous, bringing much needed healing in the midst of battle. As dedicants to the path of life, they are also trained to destroy the undead.

Gilead has a selfless desire to aid the injured, especially those injured in battle against the darkness, and often fails to consider his own safety when doing so. This extends even to intelligent living monsters who have been defeated or surrendered, and he will not allow a prisoner to suffer. His order emphasizes cleanliness, both physical and spiritual, and he performs cleansing rituals and meditations daily. He is quick to express his feelings, and has difficulty hiding them.

He has since felt his goddess' calling to aid the adventurers brave enough to descend into peril and bring the fight to the doorstep of Evil.

In combat he will use the reach of his spear to keep his distance from the melee as much as possible, so that he will be free to disengage and tend the wounded, and will prioritize healing his comrades over fighting the enemy. He will usually save his Contingency Casting for a vital healing spell or to remove an affliction when Faith Healing has failed him.

Default Re: Hospitalier to the fore!

Woohoo! I love these shared characters. I often like to start up impromptu games with no time for chargen, so it's great to have a diverse array of options. Works great for beginners too.

I've been plugging these into GCS along with the Delvers to Go set and adding portraits so they all print fairly well.

Thank you for sharing!
