Re: Adapting Dragon Age for GURPS!!! Anyone?
Does anyone have done the adaptation?
Tomorow i will start a campaing in the game world, but for now i still dont do much to adapt. But i think that the regular mage system, with limited choices and little prerequisites to the spells, will work fine. And probably let the players high HP and acess to high DR equipament so they can endure a lot of combats without pause. |

A checklist of the peculiarities in the Dragon Age setting, as magic, NPCs, monsters, races, herbs, spells (as powers or as GURPS Magic spells, maybe modified with Thaumatology options). . . would be useful for statting the crunchy bits. Posters could pick an item from the checklist for answering directly to it, fleshing it out. The different posts could be gathered in a PDF afterwards. A "fluffy" list of the setting's distinctive features would be good, too, for stressing the themes. On the other hand, it's true the Dragon Age pen & paper RPG is out there and I bet it already covers a significant part of this. You know, the Dungeon Fantasy frame can be enough for most things.
