Default Cheat questions

1. If I use Cheat! on a throwable potion (as a last resort during Boss Fight) can I use the potion from a room that is not the same or an adjacent one?

2. Can I play a Cheat! card on an item I have in play during combat?

1. No. Cheat does not make the potion non-Throwable.

2. I'm pretty sure you can do that as DxMs can be played any time, even in combat, if they don't give other play conditions. However, you cannot play it with an Item from your hand and if you play it on a packed Item, you can't unpack it. Thus, it seems fairly useless... Oh, but it could give you a bigger bonus on a card, I guess!

No. Nothing about Cheat! changes the nature of the Item. It makes it so you can use it and get the biggest bonus from it. No one-shot Throwable Items are exclusive or provide multiple bonus possibilities, to my recollection, so there's no need to use Cheat! on one.

Yes, but by doing so, it doesn't make an Item in your pack something you can use during that combat. The only logical reason to do this is to get the best bonus from an Item you are already using.
