DR for the eyes

What is the conventional way to build DR for eyes, such as an armored visor or Superman's apparently bulletproof eyes? Damage Resistance says it does not normally cover the eyes unless it's a force field.

Lots of Nictitating Membrane? Something else?

This. It's the explicit "DR for the eyes" advantage.

I'd go with lots of Nictitating Membrane. It's already as cheap per level as it can get.

DR with force field protected the eyes too, It's seen the superman case.

The canonical price on DR to include eyes (in addition to the rest of the body) is +10%. Eye-only DR is -90% if you need it (you likely don't), so you're better off buying a Nictitating Membrane.

Incidentally, what is the textual reference for that +10%? Nitpickers want to know. ;)

Since -90% is for a location of -9 size (like eyes), then adding such a location should be about +10%. Not +20%, because Force Field already includes that and costs 20%.

The other +10% in Force Field must be the "...protecting all you are carrying too..." and protecting from touch only abilities.
