It's great to hear it's shipping, it sucks to hear about the glow in the dark dice miss count.

You should have been in the office when we learned of this nightmare. Took several hours to chase down the details and then come to a decision on a solution.

Trust me, we wish this had not happened. But: We had no idea there was an issue until shipping was running.

I don't think anyone is angry with SJ Games over the GITD dice snafu. You guys are trying to make the best of a bad situation that's out of your control and we all (should) understand. Thanks for keeping us informed and doing your best to fulfill your commitments.

You guys make "honest mistakes" -- and then you fix them as and when you can. As opposed to some other manufacturers, who you really learn not to trust. I never have any problem giving money to SJG for something new, you always deliver, big time.

Truth. SJG has always owned up to its mistakes, and even occasionally taken responsibility for someone else's. Not to mention being very transparent when it does. I'm sure that's happened elsewhere, but I can't think of anything right now, and it's certainly rare in any event.

I do. These things do happen, your reputation tells me that it was an honest, and rare, mistake.

Quoted for emphasis. For me it is disappointment, not anger.

There was a box outside my front door today from Steve Jackson games. Inside, one miniatures set 1 in a box and a bag with my hunter green set. Very cool.

I live in northern Virginia.

Whatever FedEx driver is working my route decided he didn't feel like delivering to my building today. Seriously, he just marked a different, expected delivery as "failed" without even ringing the doorbell.

FedEx just dropped off a big box of plastic Ogre goodness at my house...

Pictures on my blog (link below).

Wow - that's a LOT of parts...

I get to wait until next Thursday, because it will apparently take that long for FedEx to make the 8ish hour drive from Perrysville, OH (where it departed just after 8am today) to just outside of Philadephia, PA. I know I probably shouldn't expect them tomorrow since it's the weekend, but something's off if it's gonna take 4 business days to deliver a package the last 10 miles or so from the nearest depot...
