Question: Where do you buy our games?
I visit the New Releases page once in a blue moon.

I buy your games from Noble Knight Games, Amazon, Warehouse23, CoolStuffInc.com, and eBay.

I don't plan on including a link between the two posts (since they'll be identical), but I will have a link to these forums in my RPGnet sig.
Then I shall stop nagging immediately. :o)

Weekley to every second week. Usually looking at the daily illuminator when surfing the forum as well (daily!).

Exactly. I don't think frequent mentions are unexpected, just trying to show why folks may tune out after a while and why they may exaggerate the numbers. (Perception!)

For my analysis I focused on mentions because they tend to blend together with the "only about products I don't focus on" posts and make it less likely I'll spend the time to see if there is a morsel of value.

Skimming the multiple mention articles, almost all fall into the general categories of New/Upcoming Releases, Top 10 in Sales, and Events. A reminder of recent/upcoming products can be useful, but I don't care that much about sales reports (almost all Munchkin, as expected) or event previews/reports (I've been to plenty of conventions and I fully expect your focus to be on sales leaders and recent releases).

Almost never. I've used it as a reference ("When was that coming out again?") in the past.

Local stores (physical) and Warehouse 23 (digital). I put money into the Ogre and Arenas Kickstarters to show support for Car Wars.

Never really. I'm interested in GURPS and I get those news from the forums and Kromm's blog.

Pdfs I buy from W23 (they're not available anywhere else, are they?). Physical products I order at the FLGS.

Whenever the Daily Illuminator mentions it. Otherwise, I forget it's there.

For electronic toys (GURPS PDFs), Warehouse 23. For physical toys, I make a point of visiting my FLGS, either Rogues Gallery in Round Rock (closest) or Dragon's Lair in Austin (deepest selection). Mostly, I ask Rogues Gallery to order things for me, to support my nearest FLGS.

I forget the New Releases page exists

I buy pdfs from e23, I buy non pdfs from 'whoever has the best deal', which can be w23 when you have Specials, often the FLGS, and often major online places like Amazon, EBay, Wal-Mart, or Target

I like w23 specials, but when you don't have specials you seem really uncompetitive, so you fit into the Steam category of 'sales or bust'

I almost never visit the Steve Jackson Games front page. I like Munchkin, but I've got enough of it for now.

I think I'm following sjgames on twitter, but I don't open twitter that often, and the firehose of news I'm following means I miss most posts.

The best places to get my attention would be posts or advertisements on r/rpg on reddit or rpg.net. Posts would be better, as I've got defensive adblockers up. I also spend a good amount of time on Google Plus, but I realize that's an unusual place these days.

W23 is intentionally uncompetitive. It's an alternative to the FLGS for people who need one, not a replacement.

In that case you have succeeded brilliantly, I've bought games and books through FLGS I wouldn't be willing to pony up enough to buy online

Though admittedly I buy stuff from Target and Wal-Mart as well

As a note, I am extremely fond of Target with their Target cards, aggressive price matching, and discounts and free shipping if you use a Target card, plus the local Target graciously hosts a club I bel9ng to . . . . so to my mind, more stuff at Target is a good thing
