Default Scenario Book Compilation

With the great likelihood that a print-on-demand Scenario Books book will be coming via the Ogrezine 2 KS (Yayz!), is there a possibility for some layout upgrades to the content?

The KS Update only mentions Books 1, 2, and 3. Could the ODE Scenario Book be included too please?

The scenario format in the ODE book would benefit if map illustrations were included with each scenario so we can see board set-up at a glance.

Scenarios in all the books with fixed deployment would greatly benefit if the deployment info was marked on the map illustration in bold coloured demarcations. Red Force - Blue Force lines would really help us figure out deployment at a glance.

Scenarios with fixed starting lines should just have those lines drawn across the set-up illustration. Isolated set-up areas could be outlined. Fixed entry points marked with arrows. That would save a bunch of set-up time if we don't have to hunt for hex numbers and puzzle out set-up before each game.

Then we can spend more time playing the game game rather than the set-up game!

Unlikely. Since there is no clue how many units would be sold, we cannot afford to invest weeks of time into a complete revision of the materials. Based on existing data, this will be -- at best -- not too much of a loss.

If we start reworking everything, we'll have to scrap the entire idea.

Fair enough!

But please keep this in mind for any new future scenario publications.

Ouch. :(

I'll do my part, though I'm sure that's little consolation.

Thanks. The most important thing of all: Getting new players to give Ogre a shot.

To the other point, will the ODE Scenario Book be included (as is) along with I, II, and III?

No. If the stretch goal is met, only the three Ogre Scenario Books will be a part of the compilation.

It would be great to have a Scenario Map for each one at least.
But they take up print space, so unfortunately not likely to ever be done due to the extra cost in pages that would be generated.

I'd like to see a full page Scenario Map along with each Scenario at least.

Maybe we fans make them and post them somewhere SJGames sponsors? You've made some beautiful maps already.
