Im option 3.

I run a game for my 17 and 18 year old kids and their friends. We've been doing it for about 3 years now. (genres have included: Zombie, Fantasy, Thundarr, Quantum Leap)

I play in a game with a bunch of Thirty Somethings. We've been playing off and on for about 4 years. (Fantasy, X-files)

Actually mostly new to GURPS. I'm running Gurps Traveller very very systems light (so not to disract from the flavor and hope to move towards more detail up to a level that is sustainable).

In the other social networks I've joined I've found those interested, since it is a group interested in Freethinking exercises (simulations and history exploration). Will run for them a game, when we get around to fixing our scheds. Very full plate right now.

Except from some rare occasions to bring newcomers to GURPS, I play mostly with people I've known for some years.

This is where I usually am. I game with several folks online, and I've only met one of them IRL.

Primarily (4), playing different (short) campaigns with a more or less constant base group and regularly some new players over the years.

atm, also (2), with only one player in the group I know from FtF-gaming (the GM).

Althought now that I think about it, the "newcommers" have been playing with us for over a year now, heh, but there is room for more and a new guy will soon join in.

I've been running an online group for over a year, with people I've mostly never met in person but like a lot anyway.

I also participate in a F2F group with a mix of old and new friends. There's one other player who is in both groups.

So 2 and 5.
