My latest book is out, published by Call of Cthulhu licensee Sixtystone Press. Following Investigator Weapons 1: The 1920s and 1930s, Investigator Weapons 2: Modern Day is a 238-page supplement for Call of Cthulhu. It covers the Modern Day era, roughly from 1990 until today.

The book includes tons of campaign advice (weapon law, weapon permits, how to travel armed, criminal investigations, etc) and new rules (more realistic automatic fire rules, concealed weapons, shooting in difficult environmental conditions like Antarctica or underwater, disarming a gunman, etc), and even more tons of detailed weapon descriptions (everything from revolvers to light antitank weapons), as well as a Keeper’s appendix, tables, rules summaries, etc.

Folks who play Call of Cthulhu, especially using settings like Cthulhu Now, Delta Green, or The Laundry, will find this most useful. It is also highly informative for players of other game engines using modern settings, such as GURPS Action, GURPS Covert Ops, GURPS Horror, GURPS Monster Hunters, etc. The entire book is profusely illustrated with photographs, with virtually every item being actually depicted.
