Thanks for the encouragement, John Paul! I did submit the (longer and less interesting) version way back when, but will feel Steve out on the final version and see if he has any interest. I suspect it was considered a bit GURPS-y for TFT, especially in the long form.

My instinctive response is that radiation is a kind of affliction, and maybe you need a general framework for afflictions that would handle radiation, poisons, illnesses, etc., and then say how radiation is different from other afflictions.

JohnPaulB, I've sent to rules over to Steve and Peter for re-review. We'll see if they end up in Hexagram, but if not I'll continue to offer them through the site. Again, I suspect Steve wants to avoid a slippery slope into too many new rulesets for TFT, but I do think these may be viable, since they don't alter any other rules and their usage is completely at the discretion of the GM.
