TFT + Fury of the Norsemen?
Did anyone do a TFT conversion of Fury of the Norsemen? If seems like a great idea for a scenario.

In brief, there is a map with a Stone Tower in the centre surrounded by a village of thatched wooden houses. The attacking force consists of Ogres, Orcs and Wolves who begin on the outskirts. The Defending force consists of Knights and Men at arms who begin in the Tower. The villagers are scattered throughout the village at the start of the scenario. They are a neutral force who are controlled by initiative roll. The side who wins initiative gets to move first (as per normal rules), so if the attackers win, they can move the villagers towards their forces. This simulates panic and confusion. If the defenders win initiative, they can move the villagers towards the safety of the tower, or at least away from the monsters. The attackers get 1 Victory point for every villager killed or building set on fire. The defenders get 1 Victory point for every villager who makes it into the Tower and for every Monster killed. That's just a rough outline, but it makes for a fun, if chaotic, battle. |

Re: TFT + Fury of the Norsemen?
Sounds like it could make a fun TFT MicroGame; complete with more counters and a great excuse to produce play-scale medieval village map with guard tower. That would be a useful reusable map in a TFT campaign.
I like it! JK |

Re: TFT + Fury of the Norsemen?
That would be an awesome product. A village which could be used as a home based for role-playing purposes, but also has maps, counters and scenarios for "defend the village" skirmish play.

We could call it Castle Panic!
Nah. Seems like a retread, somehow.

You can never have too many Vikings, really. :-)
