Barbarian Cat-Woman from the Moon
I've been meaning to roll up some character using the "Heroic Background Generator" from Pyramid, but kept putting it off. With the recent posting of characters, I decided to finally give it a go. Here is the first:
Kitharra of the Moon Character Sheet Kitharra was born on the moon, in a cave hiding from the Werewolves that destroyed her family's home village. Since then she has traveled to "the blue world" as she called the know lands and seeks out any chance she can get to fight werewolves (or just about anything else). Of course nobody actually believes this story, and just figured she a crazy barbarian who was told crazy stories about her homeland. Still she's good with a spear and shield, and can provide a bit of extra muscle in the dungeon. ST 16 [60]; DX 14 [80]; IQ 10 [0]; HT 13 [30] Damage 2d-1/3d+1; BL 51 lbs.; HP 20 [8]; Will 10 [0]; Per 13 [15]; FP 13 [0]. Basic Speed 6.25 [-10]; Basic Move 6 [0]; Move 4. Dodge 9; Parry 12 (Spear); Block 12. Advantages Catfall [10] Combat Reflexes [15] High Pain Threshold [10] Night Vision 5 [5] Outdoorsman 2 [20] Sharp Claws [5] Sharp Teeth [1] Signature Gear: "Wolf Slayer" [1] Striking ST 3 [15] Temperature Tolerance 1 (cold) [1] Weapon Bond: "Wolf Slayer" [1] Disadvantages and Quirks Bloodlust (12) [-10] Easy to Read [-10] Impulsiveness (12) [-10] Laziness [-10] Obsession (Slay Werewolves) [-5] Phobia (Entering Water) (15) [-2] Social Stigma (Minority Group) [-10] Sense of Duty (Adventuring Companions) [-5] Talks to "Wolf Slayer", her spear [-1] Thinks she's from the Moon [-1] Never refuses a drink [-1] Uses the blood of fallen enemies as war paint [-1] "I rest now, let me know when time to kill" [-1] Feature: Tail Skills Brawling-14 [ 1 ] Camouflage-12* [ 1 ] Carousing-13 [ 1 ] Climbing-13 [ 1 ] Disguise (Animals)-12* [ 2 ] First Aid-10 [ 1 ] Fishing-15* [ 1 ] Forced Entry-14 [ 1 ] Hiking-12 [ 1 ] Intimidation-10 [ 2 ] Mimicry (Animal Sounds)-10* [ 1 ] Naturalist-10* [ 1 ] Navigation-12* [ 2 ] Running-12 [ 1 ] Shield (Buckler)-17 [ 8 ] Spear-17 [ 12 ] Stealth-14 [ 2 ] Survival (Arctic)-14* [ 1 ] Swimming-13 [ 1 ] Thrown Weapon (Spear)-16 [ 4 ] Tracking-14 [ 1 ] Weather Sense-12 [ 2 ] Wrestling-14 [ 2 ] * Includes +2 for Outdoorsman Equipment $1,000, 77.62 lbs. (Light encumbrance) "Wolf Slayer" (Fine Silver-coated Spear), 2d+2 imp (reach 1 or 1,2 two-handed). $200, 4 lbs. Medium Buckler. $60, 15 lbs. Heavy Leather Armor (suit, DR 2) $450, 36 lbs. Clothes (light furs DR 0) 2 lbs. Sack (holds Bandages, Blanket, Canteen, Crowbar, Personal Basics, and Tent) $30, 3 lbs. Bandages. $10, 1 lb. Blanket. $20, 4 lbs. Canteen, Full. $10, 3 lbs. Crowbar. $20, 3 lbs. Personal Basics. $5, 1 lb. Tent, 1-man. $50. 5 lbs. Pouch. $10, 0.2 lbs. 15 Coins, Copper. $15, 0.3 lbs. 6 Coins, Silver. $120, 0.12 lbs. Notes: This might not be the most optimized Barbarian out there. She's utilizing Thr damage not Sw, and sinking a lot of points into racial template. Still I think this looks like a fun character to play. Also, this is slightly off template with 1 point of HP lost in order to get the Weapon Bond and Signature Gear. Quirk points were spent on raising Striking ST to get 2d-1 Thr.

Re: Barbarian Cat-Woman from the Moon
I'm trying to figure out your shield. None of the shields from p.107 of Adventurers costs $200, and all weigh significantly more than 4 lbs. None of the shield modifiers look arrive at that cost and weight, either.

Re: Barbarian Cat-Woman from the Moon
Looks like I repeated the values for the spear on the shield line. Fixed now, thanks.

Re: Barbarian Cat-Woman from the Moon
I thought it weighed less because it was from the moon.
