Re: Does a UC IV Wight have infinite firepower
If its like 'tolkien' wights, I dont see why not .. unless wights are evil spirits inhabiting a corpse that was never theirs? or brain-rot has reduced the deado to a simple slavering monster?
GMs can make a particular undead be anything they want ofc, and the more often GMs muck about with 'official' undead stats and rules, the more uncertain and fearful players will be of undead .. fear is a GOOD thing :) I was wondering about wights and UC .. do the dead or undead have access to what chinese fellas call 'chi', or only the living? (is that important in how you see UC? can dracula do the vulcan neck-pinch? "Use the force, Vlad" lol) Last edited by mark hill; 04-17-2019 at 08:28 AM. |

Up to "GM discretion" as usual.
I always wondered about Night Gaunts, that sometimes use weapons, but have IQ 1 in physical form... |

That's an interesting point, and I guess just goes to show that IQ doesn't always mean the same thing, even in Steve's mind...

Yeah, I think that's a good way to relate to it. The Night Gaunt reduction to IQ 1 is a unique effect and one aspect of it could be it doesn't make the Night Gaunt forget how to use its weapons.
