Default Primal chaos and we're all friends here.

Can 'we're all friends here' be played with 'primal chaos':

A) before the die is rolled for primal chaos if greater than a 1 needs to be rolled - as in the player is technically losing until they roll for the bonus but they could still technically win without help.

B) before the die is rolled if a 6 will not cut it

C) after the roll for primal chaos - and a die roll high enough did not occur

Also, if the player refuses to help, does the item attained get equipped automatically? (Kinda like 'help me out here' in the original)

Everyone has to agree to be done playing cards before you can roll for Primal Chaos, and when you roll you're done with combat: Sum both sides up and live with the results; no one may legally play cards after the roll as per the card itself. Until you roll, Primal Chaos provides no bonus. If you were losing before the roll, you can get help, even if there are possible rolls that would make you win alone.

Excellent. Thanks for your response.

However, you did not address the last part. The player asks for help, the person refuses, the player now gets an item - is that item usable in the current combat - like the help me out here card?

I've been trying to research this issue, and I'm sure that I've addressed this aspect of the card before (I'm guessing the old mailing list that pre-dates the forums), but I'm not having much luck. So, I'm just going to wing it based on what I can find:

An Item taken from in play needs to remain in play, so you must put it in play. You can't, however, replace an Item of the same type you are already using. As an example, if you took something that is Headgear, but you're already using Headgear, you couldn't use the new Headgear and must put it in play turned sideways.
