Does Fit add to Bleeding rolls?
Fit is an unusually ambiguous trait and the FAQ does not address this aspect of it. I have been assuming that, yes, it does help, but then someone argued that a marathon-runner bleeds just the same as a slob. What does the collective think and maybe even what does Kromm think?

Re: Does Fit add to Bleeding rolls?
I would say that it does what it says. The name and the part about cardiovascular health are nothing more than flavor text.

Re: Does Fit add to Bleeding rolls?
Fit adds to HT rolls, bleeding rolls are HT rolls.

Re: Does Fit add to Bleeding rolls?
That's the problem though. Fit uses the infinitely ambiguous "etc" in its description, so there's really no guidance on what it actually does.
Fit says, "You get +1 to all HT rolls (to stay conscious, avoid death, resist disease or poison, etc). This does not improve your HT attribute or HT-based skills! You also recover FP at twice the normal rate." Because Bleeding is a HT roll, I would assume it is affected by Fit, which is how I've ruled it, but I'd appreciate official (or semi-official) clarification.

Re: Does Fit add to Bleeding rolls?
Thanks, that's at least a vote of confidence in my ruling!

I've always interpreted it this way as well.

Re: Does Fit add to Bleeding rolls?
"All HT rolls" means what it says. HT is used for four things:

Re: Does Fit add to Bleeding rolls?
I suppose it's not, but we were getting distracted by the parenthetical full of examples and the "etc." Honestly, this was an example of GURPS's normally extreme precision getting in my way of seeing the obvious rule. My thought process went like this: Bleeding is an optional rule, and doesn't reference Fit. Fit doesn't reference Bleeding. Bleeding isn't necessarily the same as consciousness or disease-resistance, and, as my player pointed out, being fit doesn't make your blood magically clot faster (though I think there's still plenty of justification for Fit affecting Bleeding rolls). Taken together with the "etc," it was just a somewhat open question. I'm glad to know, however, that I made the right call regardless!
Thanks to everyone and Kromm for the decidedly unambigious clarification. :-)

Re: Does Fit add to Bleeding rolls?
It does feel a bit off, though. I suppose it's easy enough to assume that Mr. Marathon would have greater blood oxygen capacity, lower resting heart rate, etc. making him marginally more resistant to the effects of blood loss.
"Kromm" ∉ "Everyone" ???
