Default Clarification on Imbuement

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Looking for a Clarification on Imbue.

From my reading on it, is the Imbue advantage limited to a single combat skill, or was the text trying to say that Imbue was only limited by the Imbue skills being specific to a combat skill?

i.e. Full value Weaponmaster or Weaponmaster limited to a single weapon?

Many Thanks

The Imbue skills are what are limited to specific combat skills.
Consider the Imbue advantage to be like Magery.

So with Imbue 1
You can learn any Imbue skill for any combat skill that requires Imbue 1?

With Imbue 1 (1 skill only)
You can learn ONE Imbue skill for a specific combat skill only or for any combat skill, that requires Imbue 1?

Sorry, just making sure I have my understanding solid on this.
Just found out the hard way I have an uber power player in my group.
So need to have certain things clear if I end up running a GURPS game beyond filler sessions.

Campaign will most likely end up being a fantasy game (TL 3/4) with maybe some TL 5/6 thrown in, or a TL 8/9 Modern or Cyberpunk game.

Want to bring Imbue in for the warrior types, so they can have a gimmick beyond Trained by a Master or Weapon Master.

Thanks

Yes, that's correct.

Are you referring to the "Limited Skill Access" limitation for Imbuement? If you are, then having Limited Skill Access on Imbue 1, limits you to only certain Imbuement skills, but you can still take those Imbuement skills for any applicable weapons. So, for example, if you took Imbue 1 with Limited Skill Access, Incendiary Weapon Only, -80%, you could still learn Incendiary Weapon (Broadsword), Incendiary Weapon (Bow), and so forth.

Alright, thanks!!

Only thing I was really off with in my reading of Imbuements.
For some strange reason I had read Imbue as being to a specific weapon type, like Weapon Master (1 weapon) is.

Appreciate the answers from both of you.
