What is your Rarest Car Wars item?
I saw a AADA keychain the other day on Ebay, and I should have picked it up. What do you have that is rare, and how did you get it?
I did get to meet SJ once at BYU's Life, The Universe and Everything, back in the late 90's I think. |

I don't think I have any really rare Car Wars merchandise. A signed UACFH, I guess?

Re: What is your Rarest Car Wars item?
The first Car Wars items I purchased were the two Car Wars Adventure Gamebooks Battle Road and Fuel's Gold. When I first met Steve Jackson in 1995 at the Seattle gaming convention Dragonflight, I asked Steve to sign both of those books.
Thanks to a great friend, I was given the Games Workshop boardgame Battlecars and its supplement Battlebikes. I won a copy of the Threshold Games boardgame Highway 2000 from an eBay auction over 10 years ago. Veteran Car Wars players probably remember Pocket Box Car Wars, Battlecars, and Highway 2000 were the three car combat tabletop games available in the early 1980s. Each system had unique advantages and disadvantages for gameplay and vehicle design. It is very interesting to read the rules of Pocket Box Car Wars, Battlecars, and Highway 2000 to compare and contrast their gaming ideas. I believe I own books that contain all of the car combat fiction titles listed below that were inspirational stories for Car Wars.

SJ Games should publish on Warehouse 23 high-quality scans of . . .
1. all mailer covers for Autoduel Quarterly. The scans should include the exterior and interior of each mailer cover. 2. all Car Wars bumper stickers ever created.
