The Sword of Ryland: Quick Play Adventure
Yep, I've made a quick play adventure! Its not fleshed out, but players and GM's will probably wish to do that themselves: this is the most flexible form of the adventure. Its also a launch point for exploring different kinds of magic systems, and how choosing a system effects fluff as well as mechanics. Special thanks goes to the mook for inspiring me to work on a project like this.

The Human Destiny: Aliens Reworked
This post is my commentary on the setting 'The human Destiny' (At the time of this post, the first post is only tangentially related, the rest of it is pretty good.). It has two purposes: The first is to explore how aliens are best statted up so that they are accessible to play and interesting, and the second is to get you into this setting Mr. Zeigler is creating. My methods are reasoning are described more fully in my all time favorite post 'how to stat an alien species', and this should be considered part of that series. I hope you find both my and Mr. Zeigler's ideas intriguing and inspiring for your own games.

Essential Resources: The MyGurps IQ Rule
Today I highlight someone else's work: one of the best house rules ever proposed to GURPS, and a solid collection of other rules. This is the mygurps site. If you found this forum and not that site, go check it out as soon as possible. Really, its that good. I focus on the IQ rule, as that's the think from the site I use the most, but really, its a great site. Yes, I will be going through my favorite resources and showing what I think are the gems of online gurps resources. stay tuned.

My first set of characters for the game have spent their points -- but not their cash! I hope you enjoy the characters.

Re: Blog: Worlds Beyond Earth
Mystral Energy
and Mystral Weapons This is another magic as technology system, designed for a 'pulp magic, glass cities and floating ships' feel. Its an honest to goodness TL 4+2^ setting that doesn't just copy the capabilities of TL6, but has different strengths and weaknesses compared to it. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you're inspired by it.
